Trip to Birmingham

I took a little trip to Birmingham today to pick up some more silver and a couple of

new enamel colours (the postage for these enamels are £11!) so whilst there I did a bit of shopping too :)

Sobar Thursday

So Wednesday nights are usually my night out for the week. 

But not this week I instead chose to go to 

an all you can eat world buffet with a friend, 

Which meant I spent thursday feeling fresh and

 sober for a change.

After a 2 hour tutorial I went into the workshop and made these.

So these are my first pieces in silver!

I was so worried I was going to mess these up but 

they have turned out all good :)

Ive yet to enamel them as I don't want to ruin them

 before doing some enamel

samples of some of the silver scraps / speak to my tutor.

As all I could afford was this tiny 5cm square

piece of silver Ive tried to get as much out of 

it as possible.I decided to make one largish 

pair of earrings and two smaller pairs

I still have a tiny bit of silver left over so 

will need to order some more 

before I can make any more.

Enamelled Earrings

So this week I've been making some earrings!

They vary in size from diddy little green ones to huge (about 5cm) pink ones

Ive had quite a bit of fun making this!

As these are samples I've only made them in copper 

so unfortunately they cant be worn :(

Although I have ordered some silver so I can make some proper ones.
